Mahatma Gandhi famously said, "The Best way to find yourself is to lose yourself in the service of others".
Dinesh started his professional Life as a Teacher, and dared later to set up a trading unit in Iron and steel. He rapidly grew into a major manufacturer of Steel Billets and importer of Flat Steel.
Dinesh was invited to join Rotary Club of Thane Lake city in 2001-2002. He became President in 2007-2008 and set several Benchmarks -:
1. Highest ever Membership Growth
2. Highest ever Donation to the Rotary Foundation
3. First ever Matching Grant for construction of Check Dam near Bhiwandi.
He led the hugely impactful Global Grant Project at Mahavir Jain Hospital in Thane with TMC and JITO
to establish a Diagnostics and Ophthalmic Centre, providing operational theatre equipments and set up a Dialysis Center with Rotary Club of Thane and a PICU with the help of PRID Ashok Mahajan.
Dinesh has served as Assistant Governor (2012-13)
District Secretary (2015-16)
Chief Co-ordinator 17-18 and
Avenue Chair TRF Support, when he raised the bar and collected 1.14 millions donation to The Rotary Foundation . With this donation, D 3142 ranked 29th amongst the 540 Districts in the Rotary World.
In the same year, Dinesh's Parent Club, Rotary Club of Thane Lake City contributed more than 4 Lac $ to The Rotary Foundation and was ranked No 3 in India and No 11 in the Rotary World.
Dinesh also served as Convenor for DTA , PrePETS, DTTS ,CSR Conclave and numerous TRF Seminars.
Dinesh was District Coordinator for 5 years “Rotary Leadership Institute”.
Dinesh has received the RI Club Builder Award in 2015-16 and was bestowed with Rotary District Service Award on FOUR
occasions.
He is Recipient of Rotary Foundation 2nd highest award -Citation for Meritorious Service from Rotary Foundation
He was bestowed Frontline Warriors Awards from Honorable Governor of Maharashtra Bhagat Singh Koshiyari.
He is a Major Donor, Paul Harris Society Member and Benefactor to the Rotary Foundation. Dinesh’s family members are all Paul Harris Fellow.
Dinesh's spouse Jyoti , was a Charter Member of the Inner Wheel Club and a member of Rotary Club of Thane Lake City.
Daughter Kritika is pursuing higher studies in medicine, daughter Bhavika is pursuing higher studies in Law and Son, Vansh has joined the Family Business and operates from the Dubai office.
