Rotary Club of Riverside (RCKR) established on 12th December 2008, is one of the vibrant clubs of District 3142 with its presence in Kalyan & nearby 27 villages along with Interiors of Murbad taluka.
With 13 Past presidents, RCKR has reached new heights year after year. RCKR is active in all major projects across the thane district with few flagship projects; -
- Eradication of Malnutrition @ Murbad taluka for 12+ years
- Blood donation Camp every year on 15th August & 26th January
- Every year Uniform Distribution at Bandalpada School, Murbad
RCKR has completed 1000+ Cataract & 100 of retain operates for Below Poverty Line people (BPL)
RCKR club members come from diverse professional, classifications & places. With Doctors, CA, bankers, Government servants & multiple business owners, RCKR has a perspective to get contribution from all sectors & classes of society.
The act of giving is rooted in the DNA of the RCKR Club.
As on date, RCKR can execute projects of INR 1crore+ with its expert & dedicated club members which are Senior Rotarians
RCKR believes in equality; hence, the club is diversified with men and women, working shoulder-to-shoulder for all social projects.
RCKR has been recognised with many citation awards, president awards & district awards for its excellence in social projects.
The leadership from RCKR has often gone beyond the club & has chartered chairs in the district. In the coming year, RCKR already has nominated AG & other avenue chairs
Since the day of the Inception of club, RCKR has had the active participation of 10 charter members.

- RCKR has been appreciated by - A certificate from Integrated Child Development Services Murbard (ICDS) For Zero death since our Projected Started on Eradication of Malnutrition
- Successful Fundraising of approx. 20 Lakhs for the above Subject in FAB year 22-23
- In 2020-21, the club is being recognised as 100% PHF club & early EREY too.
- in 2023-24 One Rotary School and one Rotary Garden
With 43 members onboarded & 2 Honorary members, RCKR aims to induct more than 4 new members in Awesome year 2024-25, rounding up the Strength of club to 47.
